SfN Seeks Volunteers to Improve Search Functionality - Respond by 8/20/20

SfN has started a project to improve the search functionality across our websites (SfN.org, Neuronline and BrainFacts). We’re looking for volunteers to help us with the following activities:

• Identify synonyms for neuroscience terms (this allows the search to return results that may not match the term but match the meaning of the term searched for)
• Assist the project team with ranking and scoring (i.e. what results do you expect/want to see when searching for a neuroscience term on our websites?)

Depending on the amount of interest received, we’re asking for a time commitment of anywhere between 10-15 hours over the next 6-8 weeks. Please let emartinez@sfn.org know by Thursday, August 20^th if you’re interested and someone from the project team will reach out with further details.
