ccheatham Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 The Committee on Neuroscience Departments and Programs (CNDP) invites you to participate in Neuroscience Training Programs Without Borders on Wednesday, March 18 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. EDT.* The field of neuroscience embodies a very active international scientific community that drives the need for neuroscience training programs to internationalize their training efforts. Increasing efforts to attract and acclimatize students will leverage diverse scientific collaboration with academic success. This webinar will showcase two neuroscience training programs, and describe how each support their international student body by addressing language barriers, pre-course requirements, and general adaptation to a new country. The program will also feature the perspectives of two students.By participating in this webinar, Neuroscience Departments and Programs (NDPs) will learn best practices of supporting their international student body. Additionally, students considering an international program can gain some tools for success.
