Deborah Zelinsky
Hi All! I’m involved in defending a man who was hit by a car several years ago. He has had visual processing symptoms since the accident. The opposing lawyers claim that the symptoms were not from the accident and are blaming it on stress in his life. However, the one finding that can’t be from stress is the asymmetry found in his retinal stimulation. (When I angle light from his right side, his objective response is different from that on his left). Does anyone know of any scientific references which would demonstrate how a mild brain injury could induce an asymmetric processing response? Sorry, I’ve been gone for so long! Life here was rough. Now, it is back to an even keel.
