LATP 2020 course application opens 12:00pm EDT

The 2020 LATP application will open at 12:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, April 8 and close on Wednesday, May 13 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

The 2020 live course will take place at the Instituto de Investigaciones Biológicas Clemente Estable (IIBCE) in Montevideo, Uruguay from November 2 – 20, 2020.

Title: Molecules, cells, and circuits: understanding nervous system mechanisms

Modules:

• Cellular and molecular neurobiology: neurons, glia, and plasticity
• Neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders: new experimental approaches and therapeutic strategies
• Neural systems, cognition, genomics, and behavior

Applicants must submit the following documents:

• Curriculum vitae
• Letter of recommendation
• An essay describing why you wish to participate in the program and how will you benefit (500 word maximum)
• All application materials must be submitted in English.
