As an aspiring HS student approaching senior year, I am faced with many options on how to reach my dreams. I still am torn between clinical or research neuro (though slightly leaning towards research, specifying in cellular/molecular aspects especially). The schools I have been looking into either provide neuroscience as an undergrad major or pre-med, which then afterwards I could go into grad school or medical school to continue my studies (clinical v research). My question is that what would be the difference in these approaches, and what I could do with each pathway. Also, what would be the difference between having an MD vs PhD, I understand that a the first can be a physician, however, what can someone with a PhD do?
