Hello There!

We finally created a linking group for “BACE1 biology and Alzheimer’s disease therapy”.

Topic and significance: BACE1 is the rate-limiting enzyme in the generation of Aβ peptides and a key target in Alzheimer’s disease therapy. Moreover, BACE1 is a stressed-induced protease elevated in AD brain. Thus, it is crucial to better understand BACE1 biology in health and disease. This nanosymposium will bring together internationally leading BACE1 researchers to discuss the newest results on BACE1 function and regulation as well as challenges for BACE1-targeted therapies.

Here is the category:
Theme C: Neurodegenerative Disorders and Injury
Subtheme: C2 Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia
Topic: C.02.f. APP and metabolites: Function and processing

If you are interested in submitting an abstract on this topic feel free to contact us and we will be happy to provide more details on the linking group
Cheers
