According to Nature, almost 40% of women trainees polled in a recent study report they have been sexually harassed in their work environment. This information is the result of a recent survey commissioned by NIH and delivered to NIH Director Francis Collins and a panel of his advisors. The poll identifies that young women, people from sexual and gender minorities and those with disabilities, as those most vulnerable to harassment.
