The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) has announced their 2019 awards to 16 individuals in recognition of “extraordinary scientific achievements in a wide variety of fields.”

Among those awardees is Eve Marder, of Brandeis University, who won the NAS award in the Neurosciences for her work on neuronal circuits using the crustacean stomatogastric ganglion as a model.

Congratulations.
