A large-scale genomic analysis has revealed some of the inner workings of the body clock, shedding new light on how it links to mental health and disease.

Any speculation as to why this is? Disclaimer: I did not read the paper, but I am always wary of self-report (participants self-reported whether they were morning people or night owls).

If this were true I should be in a very sad state by now. I am an extreme night person most of my great ideas have been between midnight and 4am. For years I worked all night long and truly enjoyed it.
Actually, I am a very happy person who just enjoys the night.
