Suzana Herculano-Houzel is associate professor of Psychology and Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University, where she also is associate director of communications at the Vanderbilt Brain Institute. She is a biologist and neuroscientist interested in studying brain diversity and evolution, and also a writer and avid public speaker who enjoys communicating science to the public and helping young scientists improve their communication skills.
